KDF Reprographics, Inc. named “Little
Giant” by Rockland Business Digest and its Business Excellence Awards
Rockleigh, NJ
– KDF Reprographics has just been awarded the first annual Little Giant
Business Excellence Award as the Best B-2-B Business with a significant
presence in Rockland County, NY.
Officially
endorsed by the Rockland Business Association, Rockland Business Digest
was launched in 2006 and remains Rockland County’s only
business-to-business news magazine. The publication promotes a
commitment toward local business fulfillment through news-based content
distributed to over 11,000 Rockland-based businesses, 8-times per year.
To seek out and reward innovative small
or micro businesses, the RBD Little Giant Awards honor small businesses
that represent a spirit of innovation, a dedication to the county, and a
willingness to improve not only their own bottom-line, but the business
community, as well.
KDF-Reprographics and its president, Stephen Hoey were honored as Best
B-2-B Business for outstanding efforts helping other businesses reach
their goals and objectives. The company has been providing document
management services to Rockland, Westchester and Orange counties since
1995 including large format printing, color graphics and document
management for the AEC community, Hospitals, Education, Utilities,
Municipalities and Corporations.
"We’ve built strong relationships with a
wide array of clients; from small firms to large. Our success is built
upon providing the very best possible service," says Hoey. KDF
originally began as a computer services company providing networking
PC’s and repair. As time went on they realized that the majority of
their customers were architects and engineers who needed large format
printing services – and have focused on that type of niche work since.
Evolving those services into large format and small format document
scanning was a no-brainer for KDF and — as a direct result of the
caliber of its service — the rest, as they say, is history.
The company's sales tell the story of its growth. In 1995 KDF's annual
revenues were approximately $150,000; now they are over $1,500,000 and
his staff has grown to twelve. "We are the main place to go to for these
services," said Hoey.
"Our clients are able to safeguard their paper documents and vastly
increase their productivity because now all their paper is in digital
form and it is much easier to retrieve those documents. But the bigger
thing is how we take care of our clients,” he noted. “Our prices are
competitive and we’ll stand behind the quality of our services any day,
but we really believe that at the end of the day it’s all about how well
you take care of the client’s needs.”

May 9th, 2008 - KDF Donates $1,000.00 to Help Local Football & Cheerleading
Organization
Warwick Advertiser Story
Warwick, NY 05/09/08: Steve Hoey is challenging local
businesses to make a difference in Warwick’s youth football and
cheerleading league. The Warwick resident, who has no ties to the
club, donated $1,000 from his business, KDF Reprographics.
“I decided to do this because I heard what happened and felt someone
should step up and assist the group,” said Hoey.
The headlines haven’t been good for many non-profit groups,
including the Warwick Youth Football League. In February, the
group’s former treasurer was arrested by state police after he
allegedly stole more than $33,000 from the group.
“I wanted to show my support and hopefully kick off a corporate
challenge,” said Hoey. “Let’s issue the challenge to other companies
in the area to help give this group a boost.”
Scott Walter, the group’s new treasurer, said the new Board of
Directors has many changes coming for 2008.
The club is working on getting a new concession stand and
announcer’s booth built at the park. New bathrooms will be in place,
a new public address system will be up and running and fundraising
is planned for new bleachers and a new scoreboard.
In addition, Walter said the group’s first annual golf outing is
scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, at Farmstead Golf Course. For more
information on the league and the golf outing, check the Web site,
www.warwickyouthfootball.org, or e-mail Walter at swalter66@aol.com. |
